You’ll need a real piece of spruce branch (easily collected in your backyard, anywhere you buy Christmas greenery, or a public park), air-dry clay, a rolling pin, acrylic paint, and a piece of string. Use the spruce branch to indent the rolled-out ornament, and then get your kiddos to paint the imprint green and brown. Depending on the age and artistic interest of your child, this will turn out either vibrant or delicate. It will definitely show the personality of the artist and will look beautiful hanging on any tree.
